Resource Optimization Initiative (ROI)
The Resource Optimization Initiative (ROI), a not-for-profit entity, has been set up to introduce planning and tools based on Industrial Ecology to policy makers in governments and businesses of developing countries. ROI is registered as a Public Charitable Trust in India, with its registered office in Bangalore, India The major focus of the ROI, to begin with, would be Land, Water and Energy – the three major resources of concern in most developing countries
Healthy Food
This organization aims to improve nutrition and eliminate hunger in India by ensuring access to fresh, nutritious meals and essential food supplies, including raw grains, to marginalized and underserved populations.
Education
We firmly believe that education is not just a privilege but a fundamental human right that should be accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background, socio-economic status, or geographical location.
Medical
During times of crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters like floods, the Ruva Foundation has provided emergency relief and support to affected communities.
Pure Water
Building and maintaining clean water systems, such as wells, pipelines, and rainwater harvesting systems, to ensure communities have reliable access to safe drinking water.
Love & Care
Offering counseling and therapy services to help children cope with trauma, loss, or abuse. This could include mentorship programs where they receive the emotional and psychological support needed to heal and thrive.
Travel Activities
Organizing volunteer beach cleanup events, raising awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on marine ecosystems, and promoting the importance of reducing plastic waste.
